My Minneapolis parks challenge is already helping me change up my walk routines. I have been to Pearl Park a few times for a Zumba class but I've never walked there from my home. Located in the Page neighborhood, Pearl Park is one of the more active parks I've been to in Minneapolis. There was an adult kettle bell class in session outside the rec center when we arrived, lots of kids playing in the pool and on the playground equipment, martial arts in the gym, and several soccer games.
This park was definitely energizing and I plan on making this a more regular walking route since I can walk along Minnehaha Creek under I-35 and then cut over to the park by walking by some pretty Page homes.
