Sunday, July 13, 2014 Open since April 2011, Bread & Pickle is a food stand at the Lake Harriet Bandshell. In addition to tasty coffee beverages, it also serves Minnesota craft beer on tap and food (which I've never ordered). This morning was perfect outside so I celebrated by walking one of my favorite routes to get my coffee. The route
The Crack Press is $5.00 and a rare treat for me. It is cold pressed coffee, sweetened condensed milk and chocolate over ice. I have them hold the chocolate because I'm not crazy and know where to draw the line. The first time I had this drink, I compared it to Vietnamese iced coffee at Pham's Deli. It doesn't quite hit that bar for coffee drinks that involve sweetened condensed milk but it is definitely a tasty treat. It lasted me all the way home as I like these drinks to last as long as possible. Here's the rest of my walk in photos:
