Scott and I are recovering from a drumstick-a-day addiction. Stewie always appears anytime he hears us opening up the wrapper.

Today I worked from home and to remind myself how thankful I am to live in a modern world including air conditioning, I took breaks in the tropical conditions of my backyard. On such a break I decided to have a little photo shoot with Stewie since he was looking particularly dapper. He was had a gig as token Bichon for the PetSmart Grooming Academy and was pampered by future groomers and their teacher, Andrea. I know I am a crazy dog person for saying this but I really love how many faces Stewie makes. My favorite of the bunch is the one with his little tongue sticking out partway.

I brought Stewie with me on an errand and when I opened the hatchback, he was standing on his hind legs looking at me. I snapped a continuous shot and because this is one of my least interesting shots to date, I challenged myself to learn how to create an animated gif using Photoshop!
I can get the animation to work on my computer but when I upload it to Flickr and Weebly (this website), it converts it to a different file type and it is no longer animated. Boo.

I arranged to take photos of Annabel for the Armatage 365 blog with her mom, Brenda. We tried to time it so that we could take photos outside but the rain started up again right when we arrived. Fortunately, Brenda, Eric and Annabel welcomed Scott, Stewie and me into their home. Annabel showed us her toys; a barn, building blocks, dolls and doll strollers and she even shared her hat with Scott. We love talking with Annabel and she loves Stewie.

Every day we stop to say hello to Dakota and she is always more interested in Stewie than he is with her. Stewie is waiting for treats to be handed out by Scott.

I'll admit that I almost forgot to take a photo today. My back hurt the most it has all week and I only left the house once to go to the doctor. The sun had already gone down and I wasn't in the mood to be extremely creative. Stewie was groomed on Wednesday so he is all fluffy and soft, my favorite, so I decided to capture that.

This is a typical scene in our home. Stewie just knows we'll drop SOMETHING when we are preparing our meals. He is usually right. His favorite human food is red pepper. Please do not tell me dogs are not supposed to have red pepper. Too late.

Today I spent all day at home with exception to the 20 minute dog walk. I didn't think that photos of Scott and I filing our taxes, doing laundry, sorting recycling or playing at our respective computers would make for thrilling photography. So, another dog photo makes the Project 365! This isn't just any dog though. It is our dog Stewie who has been in our lives for five years.
This photo was taken right after Stewie put his entire head in the snowbank. Just as I went to snap a photo of his head covered in snow, he shook himself off.
I attempted my first 365 photo project in 2011. I made it to Day 246.
