In an attempt to shove old man winter out the door, Kari at Sancutary SalonSpa painted my toenailes in hotblooded by Sparitual. Too bad I don't have a beach vacation lined up.

I've been wearing glasses since the second grade. I have what Opthamologists call high myopia. That is a succinct way of saying - this person can't see anything further than a 1/4 inch from their face. I typically wear contacts because I can see better in them. But, some days I just have to wear the specs to give my eyes a rest. This particular pair of glasses (Nymphe by Anne et Valentin) came from Specs Optical in Minneapolis. The service there is phenomenal and the frames are quite unique. For those of you who have a high myopia prescription, I highly recommend Specs because they have the ability to order high-index lenses. Places like Lens Crafters will order you high-index lenses but they don't offer the absolute thinest available and they will be heavy and look like coke bottle glasses.
So, now you know way more about eyeglasses than you ever wanted.
Side note: I took this photo at work with the assistance of a mini tripod and the self-timer. I am pretty sure the person who sits across the cubical wall from me thinks I'm nuts.
I attempted my first 365 photo project in 2011. I made it to Day 246.
