After working a half-day, my spring fever spiked and I just had to get outside. I spontaneously decided to take the afternoon off and my first order of business was a walk by Lake Harriet. I was going to walk all the way around but I had my Sorel boots on for the puddles and it wasn't very comfortable. Fortunately I stayed long enough to catch this dog walker. I followed him for quite awhile because I was just amazed at his control of eight (EIGHT!) dogs. I can barely keep one dog, Stewie, on task. This is a true professional. I overheard someone say that he goes to the Lake several times a day. What a cool job. Scott says this is his dream job. I asked him to wait until retirement to make that career change!
This photo along with the window washer photo have reinvigorated my desire to take photos of people at work. Kind of like the series Odd Jobs or Dirty Jobs or whatever its called. This photo scavenger hunt is the intersection of my life as a career counselor and my hobby as a photographer. If you have any ideas or leads of people who have an interesting job and would be open to having their photo taken, please let me know.

A sure sign of spring; the high rise window washers are back. It startles me every time. I heard a knocking sound on the window; look to investigate its origin and am shocked to find two men dangling in midair. Since my work space (ahem, cube) is next to this window, I do appreciate the clean glass to better my viewing pleasure! Thanks window washers!
I attempted my first 365 photo project in 2011. I made it to Day 246.
