On the way to Give & Take at the St. Paul CoCo workspace, I spotted these amazing stairs in between buildings.

I had a meeting in the Crown Roller Mill building to talk with people who work in the Economic Development arm of the City of Minneapolis Department of Community Planning & Economic Development. On the way to the meeting, I noticed the Ceresota mural for the first time and I've walked past it too many times to count.

I attempted to capture a neighborhood tour of Whittier with my friend, Siri. We managed to walk about two miles before my back screamed, "No more!". I can't wait to return to Whittier because there is so much to see. I really liked this apartment building because it seemed like every resident has a bike parked outside their door.

Once a year, the "Witch's Hat" water tower observation deck is open to the public in the Prospect Park neighborhood. This is part of the Pratt ice cream social, a fundraiser for Pratt School, a K-5 Minneapolis public school.
The line for the observation deck was long and I had an offer for a neighborhood tour by someone I met via mutual friends and Twitter. We decided it'd be more fun to walk around then to stand still and get sticky. We'll get in line early next year for the observation deck!
This coffee cup is affixed to the corner of the building housing Cupcake, a neighborhood bakery. You can barely tell but the coffee cup has steam coming out of it!
The Prospect Park tour will be featured on the Minneapolis 81 blog soon!

While touring Elliot Park with Angharad, she showed me this historic building, which has space for available. Of course, now, I want to know the history so I may come back to this this building to learn more. I'll be posting more photos of my tour of Elliot Park on my Minneapolis 81 blog.

As an experiment, I took Photoshop I: Selections & Transformations from the Continuing Education department at Minneapolis Community & Technical College. I was seriously giddy when I received my textbook (which we didn't use). The class itself was a little odd but I definitely learned a lot and plan on taking more classes.
This was a view from one of the study areas in the Technical Building. I plan on going back to the roof on a nice weather day because I think one could get some good shots of the Basilica.

After work I walked further down Marquette than I normally do to catch the bus. I have always loved the Foshay Tower and like the fact that it can look at itself all day long in the AT&T Tower.
I attempted my first 365 photo project in 2011. I made it to Day 246.
