Scott and I spotted and Old Tyme car parked by The Bibelot Shop in Linden Hills. I loved all of the details of the Packard Twelve.

A walk through the Minneapolis Rose Garden is a bittersweet experience this year. While there are some magnificent blooms like this one, the plants have been attacked by Japanese Beetles and the survivors are few and far between.

Before heading home from work, I stopped by Elliot Park Neighborhood Association to meet with David Fields and Lynne Regnier. They work tirelessly to promote Elliot Park as a livable community. Lynn mentioned that Teen Challenge was having an event in the Franklin Steele Square park. I didn't get to see that park on my tour so I headed over and caught this fun scene!

On my walk with Jen and Brynn around Northrop neighborhood, I spotted this gas line. It looked like a sculpture to me and with a little Lightroom effect thrown in, it kind of is sculptural.

I completed Part Two of the Hiawatha tour with Brian Moen and we came across a garage that was proudly displaying all kinds of found art creatures. I want one!

The last stop of my Loring Park tour was at La Belle Vie which is in the 510 Building. As we were leaving, I snapped a couple of quick photos. While this isn't perfectly composed, I absolutely love reflection photos and this old school reception desk with mail slots and beautiful chandelier makes my heart flutter.

Scott and I walked from our home to Longfellow Grill. We walked along the Minnehaha Creek for quite awhile and this may be the first time I noticed this graffiti art.
One of my favorite summer events is the annual Art Car + Art Bike Parade. I say that like I've been going my whole life but in actuality I just learned of it last year. But, it's a new tradition and I love that I now know the Executive Director of the Art Cars, Jan Elftmann!
I attempted my first 365 photo project in 2011. I made it to Day 246.
