April experienced snow, rain, sleet, sunshine, heat, cold and everything in between. Even though the weather was all over the place, Scott and I went on four more major walks and packed on a lot of miles. We traveled to St. James, Minnesota to meet my mom and dad for lunch (random and fun), I met up with friends I don't see often and overall it was a pretty great month.
Moving (my body)
I'm continuing with health coaching from Mary of Prairie Health Companion. It has been extremely helpful for me and encouraged me to make some positive, transformative changes in my life. I have lost more than 10 pounds since starting the program.

I never realize how often we eat out until I recap for the month. I feel fortunate that I'm able to try so many great restaurants in the Twin Cities. In addition to the restaurants we tried for the first time, I also met Liz at Mufaletta in St. Paul for lunch and we went to our old favorite, PIzzeria Lola and a new healthy spot in the mall, Freshii.

The end of April was not so great for me. It rained for 4 or 5 days straight with no sunshine and I was hit with seasonal allergies and a cold. I'm still not 100% but I'm getting better every day.
